Teach Creative Contemporary Dance

Rambert Grades embraces an ethos of progressive dance education and ensures that all content is relevant to and reflective of current professional practice. The fully accessible syllabus is carefully designed to ensure students from all backgrounds gain the skills and knowledge in contemporary dance that enable them to unleash their creative force, become brave enough to engage, take personal responsibility and push themselves.

 

We offer two syllabi:

  • Creative Dance for Early Years (Creative Movers, Pre-Primary and Primary)

  • Grades 1-8 Creative Contemporary Dance

Who can teach Rambert Grades?

Teachers from all backgrounds

We welcome new members with a variety of experience, including:

  • dance teachers
  • professional dance artists
  • recent dance programme graduates
  • early years practitioners*
  • primary/elementary educators*

*Please note that practitioners without the required level of dance qualification to train to deliver Grades 1 – 8 are welcome to train to deliver Creative Dance for Early Years.

About our training

Our Syllabus Training equips you to deliver Rambert Grades Creative Contemporary Dance training across four levels and eleven qualifications.

Supported by our expert artists, you’ll learn through a mix of self-led learning and live guided sessions, covering all necessary material, teaching approaches and safe practice.

Online Global Access

We offer online courses for different time zones worldwide.

Royal Academy of Dance Members

Rambert Grades is the recommended contemporary dance syllabus for RAD members. The collaboration between Rambert Grades and the Royal Academy of Dance provides RAD Registered Teachers and RAD Members and Member Plus the benefit of discounted Individual Membership with Rambert Grades. 

Rambert Grades training contributes to annual RAD CPD.

Prices:  

Individual RAD Registered Teacher: £90 per annum (40% off )
Individual RAD Member/Member Plus: £120 per annum (20% off)

Graduates

Students that have graduated from a Dance BA/MA or equivalent degree programme within the last 12 months are eligible for our Graduate discount. This provides a discounted first year of membership.  Individuals studying in their final year on a relevant degree programme may also be considered.

Free Workshops 

Members gain free access to our public series of online workshops featuring guest artists who cover a diverse range of topics. Past workshops have included exploring choreographers’ fundamentals, accessibility, and safeguarding. 

 

Ongoing live support  

We invite members to join our monthly Member Support sessions on Zoom and to receive personalised support via email. 

 

Free Rambert Plus membership
