Grades 1-8 in Creative Contemporary Dance

Eight pioneering grades in Creative Contemporary dance, grouped for teachers over three levels:

1Level 1 (Grades 1-3)

2Level 2 (Grades 4-5)

3Level 3 (Grades 6-8)

Each Grade covers three strands of learning to build all the necessary skills for contemporary dance: Technical, Creative and Performance.

Examinations

Rambert Grades examinations in Contemporary Dance can be taken across four levels and eleven grades, from Creative Movers up to Grade 8.

Exams are an integral part of the learning process. They mark a moment of celebration of each student’s progression and offer each dancer the opportunity to showcase their technical and performance skills, creativity and knowledge.

All Rambert Grades qualifications sit on the Ofqual Register of Qualifications.
