Sarah Gittins, The Performance Business Mentor, launched The Den in 2016 to help empower Dance, Theatre, Music and Performing Arts Schools to build a thriving studio with hundreds of happy students, without sacrificing their personal well beingWith a postgraduate degree in mentoring, entrepreneurial practice and management she has supported thousands of studio owners to scale their business. 

A best-selling author, Sarah has also created The Start Scale Steer Evolve Legacy Studio System, The Performance Business Tracker, Show Planner, ENCORE Immersive weekend and spoken on numerous stages and podcasts in the UK and America. She has led training for the ISTD, BBO and IDTA and is the CAA Board member representing Independent Businesses.  

For 24 years, Sarah successfully ran a multi-venue dance school with over 350 students before transitioning in Summer 2023 to focus on supporting dance and performance studios to grow. With a wealth of firsthand experience, she offers clear, practical business insights and a deep understanding of the industry, providing invaluable guidance to those looking expand and find success.
