Syllabus Training
The Rambert Grades Syllabus training programme is a virtual learning environment for teaching Rambert Grades across three levels and 8 qualifications (Grades 1-8). As a part of our online programme, you will be supported through a variety of ways to learn, digest and embody the Rambert Grades material. The programme is constructed as two distinct units of learning, through a blend of self-led and guided learning, taking you through our three strands: technical, creative and performance.
As a teacher of Rambert Grades, you'll have the energy of two of the world’s leading contemporary dance organisations behind it - Rambert School and Rambert Company. The training is ideal for existing dance teachers, PE teachers teaching dance in school, dance graduates or professional dancers with teaching experience. .
About the Programme
Phase 1
Throughout the first phase, study plans support you as you engage with all components of the Rambert Grades material. You develop your own learning schedule over the first period, meeting and learning the technical and performance aspects. Pre recorded webinars with the Rambert Grades creative team will enable you to deepen your understanding in these areas as well as taking you through the creative aspects of the syllabus.
Phase 2
Throughout the second phase, online taught group sessions reinforce what you’ve learned. Sessions are led by leading contemporary dance practitioners who give you the insight you need to take the material that you have learnt and develop true ownership.
Phase 3
Finally, through a consolidation session we help you to round up your learning, develop your practice and make Rambert Grades the bedrock of your teaching.
For this course you are able to choose a performance pathway you want to train in or train in multiple pathways.
